Pale and delicate in colour but with fresh and intensely fruity aromas and flavours. Hints of apple, peach and herbaceousness lend this wine its intriguingly refreshing character

BLANCO RIVALLANA - 2005 Ondarre Rioja. Spain
Bodegas Ondarre, 10km from Logrono, Rioja's capital is one of the most advanced wineries in Europe. The 'Rivallana' is a delicious, light, fresh Rioja, cool fermented to preserve it's crispness.

HAWKE'S BAY SAUVIGNON BLANC - 2006. New Zealand
Another superb wine from the Babich wine producer and a fine example of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. A rich flavoured wine displaying a blend of tropical and citrus notes with a dry finish making this an ideal food wine. Always recommended

White burgundies of the highest quality are made around the small town of Chablis and the Malande vineyard produces some of the finest: a fresh, fruity and clean wine with a light mineral taste which characterises this classic wine from one of the top modern producers in Chablis.

This Malbec-Cabernet Sauvignon blend is complex and expressive. Grown at an altitude of 1000 m at the foot of the Andes. Provides concentrated fruits and rounded tannins - very lovely!

CARMEN CARMENERE - 2004 VINA CARMEN - Chile

85 % native Carmenère grapes, 15 % Cabernet Sauvignon. A nice deep ruby colour, starts with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, rhubarb, chocolate and pepper. Soft and velvety tannins in the mouth with a hint of mint and spicy flavours. A nice balance, rich and a long aftertaste.
